The objective of this program is to change from “Managed Practices” which are short termed to implementing “Sustainable Management Systems” which are long termed. The program moves lower down the chain of instructions from management to supervisors and finally to the workers. The program focuses at communicating requirements for sustainable practices which includes understanding workplace standard, having written policies and procedures for implementation, effective training and communication of the procedures and finally implementation. Awareness and understanding of local legal requirements and workplace standards is provided. The requirement of on-going trainings for Management, Supervisors and Workers is incorporated in the program. Documents required to be maintained are defined and post implementation of standards, monitoring procedures are outlined with responsibilities assigned. The program involves continuous association with production facilities, engaging with management team from all levels starting with top management with the objective to change the thought process to “want” to do from “asked” to do, while implementing sustainable standards for ethical sourcing practices leading to growth in business.
